Our home is the Pomurje Region of Slovenia

 Located in the Eastern part of Slovenia the Pomurje Region is often called the country's breadbasket due to its agricultural heritage, soft rolling hills and forests. Cut off by the fast flowing Mura river to the south and bounded on the remaing 3 sides by Austria, Hungary and Croatia. With these borders so close it makes it the ideal area for exploring. Much of the region is covered by the beautiful Goricko National Park. It is an area of well being with many health spas. The pace of life is relaxed with the emphasis on enjoyment, friendly locals, good wine, picturesque villages and little white churches.
